What has occurred?
Coral Community Federal Credit Union (CCFCU) has been approved by the NCUA to merge with Broward HealthCare FCU (BHCFCU), this action is a partnership of like organizations. Both credit unions have been serving their members in South Florida for over 50 years. Together we will form a $137 million in assets credit union service approximately 12,000 members, 4 additional branches, one branch with Saturday hours and a drive-thru as well as ATMs available to serve members. All accounts are insured up to $250,000.00 by the NCUA.
Why has this occurred?
After careful consideration, your Board of Directors of Coral Community FCU selected Broward HealthCare FCU as a merger partner because of their strength, stability and similar array of products and services that we believe would be in the best interest of our members. Our core membership group in the medical field and the community complement each other.
